New In

So I thought I’d try something a bit different and mention some of my newest purchases from the end of August to the middle of September because as I mentioned before I can’t remember any of my August favourites.
Select Shirt
First in was a polka dot mint green shirt in the sale at Select for £8. I had been wearing a lot of black, white and red for work as the dress code is business casual/business smart and I needed to bring a little bit more colour into my wardrobe but also keep it light due to the warm weather and this shirt has been amazing for that.

I think it’s a mixture between the hot weather and coming off the pill but my forehead will not stop breaking out and a lovely assistant in The Body Shop in Princess Quay recommended and gave me a sample of the seaweed clay face mask and I couldn’t resist buying the bigger tub once I used up the sample because it seriously works! Amazing stuff and not bad for £10!
As I mentioned in my Empties post I am a shower gel addict. I really don’t need any more shower gel but when I smelt this bubble gum gel in Asda for £1 it had to go home with me! Best £1 I ever spent.
Also in Asda {I really need to just stick to my list} this tub of S.O.S Help Me twice weekly treatment was on offer and I usually just buy the single sachets once a month because they’re a £1 and I get two or three uses from them but this big tub was under £3 and it smells so good and makes my hair so soft I couldn’t resist.
New In

I’ve been after this mascara for aaaages! I saw it way back when I was living in Plymouth but I’m usually such a fan of high end mascaras but this one has really changed my mind. It makes my eyelashes super long and curly. I am dead impressed!
Another product I ummed and ahhhhed about it for ages but finally caved in and bought and have no regrets. I love the colour and staying power and how it doesn’t dry my lips out compared to others.
new books
I was super lucky to receive an early copy of Festive in Death from Little, Brown Book Group and I can’t wait to read it. I’m a bit behind on this series at the moment but hopefully it won’t last long.
Is from The Works for £1.99 but I do wish I had bought the hardback copy when I saw it first because it ended up selling out super quickly and I seriously love Poirot. Like you would not believe so I really, really wanted this book.
I again was very lucky to receive a copy of It’s in His Kiss by Jill Shalvis from Bookbridger and I loved it. Hoping to review it here before the end of the month but the review will also be up on my book blog and goodreads in the next two weeks.
